A year ago we opened the doors to our Keisari Experience brewery tour, and since then over 2,000 guests have visited to get to know our operations. This popularity clearly shows that people and companies are craving, more than ever, authentic and fascinating experiences where they can enjoy good company, quality drinks and a guided concept.
I asked Sari, who is in charge of our visits, how the year has gone.
Where have visitors come from?
Besides Finns, we’ve had visitors from at least the following countries: Germany, England, the USA, Russia, Poland, Lithuania, the Netherlands and France.
Has anyone stood out to you in particular?
Hmm, probably the day before Christmas Eve, when a father from Nokia and his two sons visited. The sons lived abroad and came straight from the airport to the brewery, where they began their Christmas together.
What’s the most common question asked during a visit?
Definitely, how to get a job here, and whether we’ll see brewing happening during the tour, or whether we’re even brewing that day at all.
What surprises visitors the most?
Visitors are especially surprised by Nokian Panimo’s history, and they’re genuinely delighted at where the brewery stands after difficult years. The long maturation time of beer also surprises many, and properly pouring the beer from the tap into a glass themselves is an experience for most.
Which are the most popular products people especially want to taste?
Definitely our development batches, the Keisari One-Offs, attract interest, since they’re not available anywhere else.
Keisari Experience isn’t just a brewery tour; it’s a deep dive into the history, production, ingredients and fascinating world of beer. During the tour, guests get a relaxed opportunity to learn the secrets of brewing under the guidance of a knowledgeable host. During the visit, we offer a unique opportunity to taste drinks of your choice from the brewery’s range of over 50 products.
Beer is much more than just a drink; it’s community, culture and passion. Keisari Experience offers a chance to experience all of that.
